BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND SELF ESTEEM OF OUR TEENAGERS

With confidence, you have won even before you have started.......

This is an aphorism that can act as a perfect potion for all aspiring students but it depends on how they are motivated and encouraged for the same. There is a thin line of difference between motivating and forcing and to really lead our aspirants towards success; we need to choose the road not taken by many “as all our dreams can come true” if we have the courage, persistence, encouragement and motivation of our loved ones.

A child grows physically, mentally, psychologically and emotionally over years and his/her self esteem gets nurtured in this process of growing up. His/her house is the first safe haven to provide that and as he/she starts understanding the world around him school becomes that canopy that shelters his/her self esteem at least it should be, in the truest sense. A child seeks an appreciation, recompense from his parents, mentors and his/her friends and thus, they form the triumvirate for his/her life. If he/she gets a perfect triumvirate he/she is bound to paint the town red with his success stories.

M.V.N is known for creating success stories and thus it goes without saying that there must have been a lot of motivation, the building of self-esteem and academic excellence behind it.

The stimulation behind a teenager is processed in five stages :

  • Inducing interest
  • Celebrating accomplishments
  • Discovering passions
  • Remaining positive
  • Reassuring rather than rebuking.

Let’s all strive to make this world free from any repressive quelling for our teenagers so that it’s a world they’ll look forward to as their safe haven, not something that they detest to inhabit.
