MODERN VIDYA NIKETAN SCHOOL, ARAVALI HILLS
The most successful event is the one, that achieves your goals and exceeds your expectation and MVN Aravali Hills scaled these chords by giving recently two mega successful events like Sporty Father and Star Quest where we tried to bridge the gap between the two vertices of school that is parents and management. Our enthusiastic fathers participated with fervor and child like streak in Football Matches conducted by us.
Star Quest was another mega event where the little buds from across the city (two to five years) were the stars ready to embrace the stage with their hidden talents. The icing on the cake was the presence of RJ Naved who escalated the exhilaration of our performers and their proud parents with his humorous stints.
Such events are held in MVN Aravali Hills from time to time as no school life can be considered complete without the perfect coordination of children, parents and school.
The school solemnly observed Shradhanjali Diwas on 19 December to honour its revered founder, Shri Gopal Sharma Sir. The occasion reflected deep gratitude as the school community remembered his visionary leadership and enduring legacy. Students marked the day through meaningful activities under the theme ‘25 Glorious Years of MVN Aravali Hills’. They engaged in a plantation drive, designing vertical gardens and eco-friendly wreaths symbolising responsibility and hope for a sustainable future.
Our kindergarten classrooms were filled with excitement, pride, and plenty of smiles as we celebrated Portfolio Day — a special event highlighting each child’s unique learning journey. This day provided families with a window into their child’s growth, creativity and discoveries. Parents were delighted to see how their children’s skills had blossomed. The children took center stage as they guided their parents through their portfolios, explaining their favorite pieces with confidence and joy. It was heartwarming to watch their faces light up as they shared stories behind their drawings.
Portfolio Day was not just a display of work — it was a celebration of each child’s unique voice, growth, and enthusiasm for learning. Together, we’re nurturing confident, curious, and creative learners — one portfolio at a time.
The school offers meaningful Internship Programmes that connect classroom learning with real-world experience. Commerce students completed a month-long internship with the Navjyoti India Foundation, founded by Kiran Bedi, working on sustainable creations and a water audit. Students also volunteered with Together We Will, engaging children through creative learning and life skills activities.
Additionally, Non-Medical students gained valuable corporate exposure through a summer internship at Roinet Solutions, Gurgaon. These experiences nurtured social awareness, practical skills and career readiness, preparing students to become responsible global citizens.
The school organised the ‘Read–Research–Reflect’ programme for students of Classes IV–VIII, encouraging learning beyond textbooks.
Students explored assigned topics through reading and research and presented their ideas through PowerPoint presentations, building confidence and teamwork. The best teams advanced to an inter-class presentation, making the experience engaging and competitive. The programme strengthened reading, research and presentation skills, helping students grow into confident learners.
The school organised the ‘MVN Reading Challenge 2025’, ‘I Read, I Lead’ programme and the ‘Spell Bee’ competition to promote a vibrant reading and language culture. These initiatives encouraged students to develop strong reading habits, enrich vocabulary and strengthen comprehension. The programmes reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing articulate readers and future-ready learners.
