WORKSHOP ON WASTE SEGREGATION & CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Modern Vidya Niketan, Aravali Hills, hosted an enlightening workshop on Waste Segregation and Circular Economy in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and One Step Greener on 12 February 2026. The session aimed at nurturing environmental consciousness and responsible citizenship among students.

The workshop commenced with an insightful briefing by the Senior Coordinator, Ms. Manika Girdhar, who eloquently outlined the objectives of the initiative and underscored the urgency of sustainable practices in daily life. Her address set the tone for a purposeful and engaging session.

Dr. Neeta Bali, Director Academics, MVN Schools, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing that education must transcend textbooks and cultivate environmentally responsible global citizens. She encouraged students to adopt mindful habits that contribute to a sustainable future.

The distinguished resource persons from CII and One Step Greener shared valuable perspectives on waste management and circular economy models, making the session both informative and interactive.

The programme concluded with a gracious vote of thanks by the Principal, Ms. Archana Sharma, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to the collaborators and reaffirmed the school’s unwavering commitment to sustainability.

MOM AND ME

Mom & Me: A Tender Transition – Navigating Adolescence Together

Modern Vidya Niketan organized a special session titled “Mom & Me: A Tender Transition” led by Dr. Chhavi Arun who is a celebrated Gynecologist with more than 19 years of experience. Focusing on adolescence and the physical and emotional changes girls experience during puberty. The session provided a safe and informative platform for mothers and daughters to come together, engage in open dialogue, and address concerns related to growing up. Dr. Chhavi answered a wide range of queries with sensitivity and clarity during the interactive Q&A segment. The event was graced by Director Academics Dr. Neeta Bali, Principal Ms. Archana Sharma, and Vice Principal Ms. Mona Dua, who encouraged the participants and applauded the initiative. To foster bonding, special games were organized for the mother-daughter duos, adding a fun and memorable element to the experience. A photo booth was also set up, allowing participants to capture joyful moments and reminisce about the day. The session proved to be an enriching journey for both mothers and daughters.

Workshops 2025

Workshops on developing efficiency, time management etc are also organized. Sessions on various career options and career counselling are held so that the students can explore their options and decide a course for their future. Workshops and sessions by subject experts, professional career counsellors & resource persons are organized for the students to gain benefit from.
