A man with a vision, he changed the whole approach and concept of education in the small industrial town of Faridabad and put it on the map of the NCR. It is his dream and vision that has inspired and guided the institution as it moves from strength to strength, carving a niche for itself. A true son of the soil, he began his life in the humble village of Khambi. Being a great teacher himself, he realized the need for an institution that could provide quality education to the students of Faridabad and ensure that they become worthy citizens and, above all good human beings.

In 1983, a great visionary and a pioneer in the field of education, Shri Gopal Sharma, together with Mrs. Kanta Sharma, sowed the first seeds of what would become a remarkable educational journey with the establishment of Modern Vidya Niketan School, Sector 17, Faridabad. It is his guiding spirit which has moulded the school and helped make it one of the leading institutions in the NCR today. He firmly believed that a school should aim at building an integrated personality that is a harmonious balance of our body, our thoughts and our aspirations which help a person to realize their own unique potential. From its very inception, the school has followed an educational system which promotes an all-round growth of the students' personalities by imparting integral and holistic education as envisaged by our Founder Principal.
