CURRICULUM OF PRIMARY (I TO V)

At the Primary School level, the School trains the students to entrench the basics and explore the world. They learn to question, analyse, classify and communicate their perceptions. An unconventional system of education is adopted by the School.

We have consciously and consistently endeavoured to evolve a system which inculcates sensitive and ethical sensibility among our learners. Where education is imparted through experiential learning, concepts are taught by blending technology with play-way methods of teaching.

• A suitably designed child- centred curriculum based on phonetics, provides the children with a strong foundation of spelling and vocabulary.
• Promote innovative pedagogy, with special focus on integrating art, dance, theatre and sports for active and experiential learning in the classrooms.
• Smart Classrooms are happy learning places with facilities of E-learning, music, aerobics, gymnastics and yoga as an integral part of curriculum.
• Art is integrated with education, it helps the child apply art-based enquiry, investigation and exploration, critical thinking and creativity for a deeper understanding of the concepts/topics.
• Interactive sessions are held in life skill classes in order to inculcate moral values and to enhance general awareness of the students.
• A plethora of choices is given to the students for their work experience classes ranging from creative writing to public speaking, culinary skills to clay modelling.
• Inclusive education approach gives the way to full participation without any discrimination; all students including specially enabled enjoy equal opportunity in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
