Compassion in Action | Sankalp Interact Club Visits GOONJ
Students of the Sankalp Interact Club had the meaningful opportunity to visit GOONJ, Delhi, as part of an initiative supporting relief efforts for communities affected by floods.
As a gesture of care and solidarity, essential items including clothes, books, groceries and snacks were contributed towards the relief efforts, reflecting the students’ commitment to extending support to families facing challenging circumstances.
The visit was a deeply enriching and humbling experience, giving students an insight into how voluntary organisations work tirelessly to collect, organise and channel essential resources to those in need.
The experience reinforced the values of compassion, empathy, generosity and collective responsibility, reminding students that even small acts of kindness can create a meaningful impact when united with a larger purpose.
More than a visit, it was a valuable lesson in humanity—a reminder that standing together in times of need can turn kindness into hope and collective effort into meaningful change.
Sankalp Interact Club | Inspiring young minds to care, contribute and make a difference.
On November 12, 2024, MVN Sector-17 launched "SANKALP," its first Interact Club, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Faridabad East. Operating under the motto "Care, Connect, and Change," this initiative marks the school’s entry into a global network of youth leadership across 145 countries, dedicated to social upliftment and personal excellence.
The inaugural ceremony featured a badge-presentation and oath-taking for new members, overseen by school leadership and distinguished Rotarians. Guests and faculty, including Dr. Neeta Bali and Principal Ms. Agalya Venkatesh, encouraged students to look beyond academics and embrace a "service before self" ethos. The event concluded with a commitment to fostering empathy and compassion, empowering students to become active instruments of positive social change.
True education is reflected not only in academic success but in the willingness to serve and uplift society. Our student-led initiatives stand as a powerful expression of empathy, leadership and social responsibility. Through the proactive Student Interact Club – Sankalp, students take meaningful steps toward creating positive change in the community.
From impactful donation drives that extend support to the underprivileged to well-organized blood donation camps conducted in collaboration with medical institutions, students demonstrate commitment to causes that truly matter. Their dedication also shines through cleanliness campaigns and effective waste management initiatives, promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living practices within and beyond the campus.
These efforts go beyond service activities — they nurture compassionate leaders who understand that real progress begins with responsibility, initiative and a genuine desire to make a difference.
